Dance and Souvenir in Bali

Traditional Bali Dance
Bali Dance

Kecak Dance and Barong Dance Schedule

Kecak Dance is usually done when the sunset, not all places hold Kecak Dance .. for example Tana Lot only held on Saturdays .. and special day Saturday the cost to enter Tanah Lot is charged 50rb per person ..

There are also some places that make Kecak Dance every day, such as Pura Ulu Watu .. but I do not recommend to go there if you use a motorcycle because the Road to get there is very dark .. tp if you use the car ga apa2 kok ... But you can ask tempat2 Others who hold Kecak Dance at the information centers around you or at the Hotel

Souvenirs

Souvenirs can be purchased at Poppies Lane I and II, Legian, many items are sold as souvenirs such as fabrics, clothing, carvings, bags, etc. But if you want to buy in bulk to sell again you can go to Sukawati to the northwest of Kuta. For gold & silver craft can be found in Celuk unidirectional to Sukowati-Ubud.
Joger Clothes, can be purchased at Joger Words Factory on Jalan Raya Tuban  north of Ngurah Rai International Airport (Klu do not believe own measure)

Little Tips For Those Who Want To Go "to Bali ..

Kuta Beach Bali
Kuta Beach

The plane will land at Ngurah Ray Bali Airport at 23:50, Wow. Is there still an inn open? How to get there? Is it safe?

Perhaps the above questions are often thought of for friends who will come to Bali. But I have some tips that can help my friends when forced to land in Bali late at night.
Along with the rise of tourism sector in Bali, more and more tourists who come to Bali especially tourists domistik. This is also supported by the rise of local private airlines that open the Jakarta-Bali route or from other cities in Indonesia. Of the many flights, some airlines offer cheaper rates for last night flights. The plane took off from Jakarta at around 20.30 and landed in Bali at 23.00 (1 1/2 hour flight, plus one hour due to Bali time 1 hour faster / WITA).
The problem is when you arrive in Bali at 23:00, it will arise the question how can I get lodging? Continue the means of transportation from the airport to what lodging, what is the taxi fee ?, taxi argo or wholesale? What taxi drivers in Bali like to "raise" ?, is it safe? and much more

I have some tips for the situation as above.

1. Bali time 1 hour faster than Jakarta or WITA, so when in the plane turn your watch 1 hour ahead.

2. When you arrive at the Ngurah Ray Airport Domestic Arrival Terminal, you can use the official airport taxi by purchasing a taxi ticket at the official counter which is open until the last night flight to the right at the arrival gate. We only pay taxi tickets to this counter and not to the taxi driver. But you can give tips to the taxi driver then. If you arrive at the International Arrival Terminal there is no counter taxi there, you can wait for the taxi at the arrival gate. If there is no taxi, usually there is taxi "omprengan" (black plate) but try to bargain taxi fare according to your destination. But usually this taxi omprengan not too put a high tariff. At the Official Taxi Counter a large fare corresponds to a long journey, for the Kuta-Legian destination Rp 50.000, Jimbaran Rp. 65.000, Nusa Dua 55.000, Denpasar Rp. 70,000. Kuta is the closest tourist spot to the Airport with a distance of only 15 minutes. My advice if this is your first arrival to Bali you should go to Kuta first and look for lodging there.

Travel To Bali
Bali

Or if you want cheaper ride Bali Taxi (blue bird) but you have to search at the airport exit (50-75meter from arrival terminal) .. tariff for kuta destination ranges from 25-35rb (argo)

4. Cheap, clean, and safe lodging is located at Jalan Poppies Lane II Legian Kuta. From the airport you will pass Jalan Kartika Plaza, turn left Jalan Pantai Kuta on the side of Kuta Beach and Jejeran Luxury Hotels, Hard Rock Cafe, Pizza Hut, McDonnald and turn right into Jalan Poppies Lane II to Jalan Legian. On the right tell Poppies Lane II many cheap but clean lodgings. You can stop at one of the inns and ask if there is an empty room. Keep in mind the Poppies Road is only one lane and one way and the taxi can not stop long.

5. I recommend cheap lodging in Tune Hotels or at Poppies Lane II: Inn / Bungalow Cempaka I, Cempaka II, Two Dara, Artawan, Ronta, etc. Rate of 1 room per night ranges from Rp. 85-200 thousand with facilities 1-2 beds, fan (fan) or air conditioning, bathroom / WC inside, and "light breakfast" in the morning. I think the price is very cheap compared to similar lodgings in Jakarta or other cities

6. You can directly pay cash to the receptionist room money and write the name according to the ID card on the form provided.

7. You can breathe in relief because "at least" you are not sleeping on the porch tonight. Tomorrow morning you can have a look around Poppies for a better Inn or you can go to other places in Bali according to your vacation plan.
Other Facilities in Kuta

I think the most favorite place for "first harbor" in Bali is Kuta. In addition to this area there is the famous Kuta Beach (200 m from Poppies Lane II), also has complete facilities: Cheap & clean lodgings, affordable Western & local food restorant, ATM, Internet, Mini Market Circle K 24 hours, & Souvenirs are relatively cheap nawar origin, and many bule-bule (among them many are 1/2 naked).

Security

As for security, Bali can be said to be relatively safe compared to other places in Indonesia, Rarely hawking, theft or "logging". The majority of Balinese are devout Hindus who are afraid of bad karma. Usually when the crime perpetrators are immigrants. So do not be afraid to come to Bali, it's safe!

Bali bomb .. is it safe?

As already known to have happened 2 times bombing in Bali, that is in Year 2002 and 2005. Very big impact of this event will come tourist in Bali. But now Bali is starting to rise again. For the matter of this bomb I can not guarantee because it can happen where I depend on the fate of "apes" in Jakarta aja we can get bombs, again eating at A & W Kramat Jati can be hit by bombs, again passing in front of JW Marriott could be hit by bombs, Hit the bomb, so stay my prayers to avoid us, amen ..

Vehicle Rentals

If you are on a two motorcycle vacation is the right choice to save your travel expenses. There is a motorcycle rental along Jalan Legian fitting in Bali Bombing Monument I, downstream to the direction of Seminyak or upriver towards Kartika Plaza, Jalan Raya Kuta, Until Jln Kuta Beach

Along this road a lot of motorcycles are parked for rent. Prices range from 25-30 rb for motor supra Fit and 30-40 thousand for motor Vario, Mio and Kymco and 60 thousand for Tiger. But I strongly advise to rent a motor matic because not cape and jalan2 dibali jg not jammed your tp you young spirited motorcycle rental Tiger just let me quickly and powerful as well as feel the adventure that is second to none.

Sunset In Bali
Sunset in Bali

Lease time is 1 day for example if you rent a motorcycle at 12 noon then it must be returned at 12 noon the next day, but if we rent 2-3 days can be cheaper (bargain ama si brother certainly) Tenants leave only ID as collateral rental. We will be given 1 sheet of proof of payment receipt and 1 card substitute STNK, Bali Polda issued a special card replacement of the original vehicle registration for motor rental. If your trip is not too far just around Kuta, Jimbaran, Sanur can use motor Matic but if our destination to Kintamani, Ubud, Sange, Singaraja Japanese in Master Card Ads wrote motorcycle rental for the streets of Bali. But if you take 3-4 people I recommend to rent a car only, with rates 100-150rb (Katana / jimny) & 350 rb for deer / Taruna / Panther.

If you need a driver can add Rp. 100-150 thousand so you do not need a report because this driver can also be a guide. Usually we are offered to pay 80 thousand insurance but this is not a requirement. Rates above fixed and not much different from one rental to another rental. But not wrong if you have to ask first to 2-3 rental as a comparison material. Car rentals can be found at tour counters along the legian road, kuta beach and poppies lane.

But if you do not want to bother hiring a driver + driver I suggest to take a tour of one day Daily Tour only to places of interest in Bali with rates between 200-500 rb / person with at least 3 places / day + lunch & snack.
Daily tour information can be obtained at the Tourist Information counters are widely found on Jl. Poppies Lane II, Jl Legian & Jl. Kuta beach. For all Car Tour & Rental information can also be asked at the hotel where you stay.

Food

On Jl Poppies Lane, Kuta Beach, & Legian are many restaurants but most offer western menu (Burger, Spagheti, grill etc.) but there are also restorant that offers Indonesian menu like at Indonesian Restaurant and Padang Restaurant at Jalan Ronta.
Mc Donnald there are 3 that is in Legian Street, Kuta Square beside the Sun, and Jalan Pantai Kuta pas facing to Kuta Beach is the right place to hang out.
KFC there are 2 first in Kuta Square at the meeting of Jalan Kartika Plaza & Jalan Pantai Kuta and at Mall Centro at Kartika Plaza.
For those of you who miss Indonesian food can be found on Jalan Raya Tuban. From Legian back to Kartika Plaza to Ngurah Ray Airport (past Joger). Here there is soto betawi, soto jawa, chiness cuisine, the famous is Ibu Tinuk (Sop buntut Jawa Timuran)
